Star Kids is a sci-fi/fantasy children’s film about four extraordinary kids who must discover who they are in order to save the world from ultimate destruction. With the help of a few special powers,  many challenges and friends along the way, the children undergo individual transformations that empower them on their journey to save the world!

Filmed in Seattle and the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Star Kids is designed to help  kids deal with negative influences by teaching positive values and the benefits of working together to reach a common goal.

The film is a project of the Dream Power Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports and educates youth by exposing them to artistic experiences such as trips, educational classes, and other projects like Star Kids.  At the heart of the film is the idea that kids are the most vulnerable to the influences of negative media.  The Star Kids Project attempts to first address this expanding social problem by creating a children’s film aimed at combating the negative influences of media. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, the Star Kid’s crew consists of kids from a local internship program that pairs Seattle teens with films students from local film schools.
